Understand why payment institutions in Brazil will have more autonomy in the cross-border payments industry from October 2022.

Brazil’s Central Bank has recently approved a series of changes to its FX policy, aimed at facilitating international payment and transfer operations. With the creation of a new concept called eFX (which can be either an institution authorised by the Brazilian Central Bank or an authorised legal entity that offers digital payment solutions), FinTechs will be able to operate in the foreign exchange market exclusively through electronic means, assisting international companies to pay and receive payments in Brazil.

Join us for a webinar with Brazilian Chamber members WePayOut and Campos Mello Advogados/DLA Piper to find out more about the new regulations and trends in the cross-border payments industry in Brazil and how this will/can transform the sector. Understand why payment institutions in Brazil will have more autonomy in the cross-border payments industry from October 2022.
