The Brazilian economy has been the subject of much discussion in the past few years, with The Economist deeming it front page worthy on a number of occasions. 

Join us for an informative discussion on the current state affairs led by the director of research and chief-economist for Bradesco BBI/Bradesco corretora, Dalton Gardiman.

Mr Gardimam will talk about the different perspectives on the fiscal adjustments in Brazil, the challenges in implementing them and the outcome for the country.

Mr Gardimam is Director of Research and Chief-Economist for Bradesco BBI/Bradesco Corretora, and also responsible for fixed income and equity research. Prior to that he was chief Latin American economist at the São Paulo office of the Crédit Agricole Group, providing economic research on the region and formulating strategic guidelines for private banking clients (wealth management). Prior to that he worked at CLSA (Asia), a leading brokerage company owned by the Crédit Agricole Group, as head of Latin America economic research. He was also chief-economist for Brazil at Credit Lyonnais, Deutsche Bank and Unibanco. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics. Prior to entering the financial market Dalton taught Economics at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation Business School in São Paulo.
