Carl Simons-Short has over 20 years of UK tax experience, specialising in the Expatriate Tax sector. Carl advises globally mobile clients on all areas of expatriate tax issues including planning, compliance and consultancy, social security and tax treaties.

Carl built his experience at KPMG and Ernst & Young, working with High Net Worth Individuals and Companies with large expatriate populations. He was a member of the Ernst & Young High Net Worth Individuals team.

During his time at Ernst & Young, Carl was responsible for the General Electric Programme and subsequently the JP Morgan Chase programme. His time on secondment to Philadelphia with Ernst & Young gives him a deeper insight into the concerns facing North American assignees.
