On October 31st, members of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce were invited for the Shell Scenarios Sketch - Brazil: Leading the world to net-zero emissions presentation. For almost 60 years, Shell has been developing scenarios about the long-term challenges for the future of energy and climate, seeking to contribute to the discussion with governments, academia and society. This year, for the first time, this study was developed specifically for Brazil.
We had the pleasure of hearing from Cristiano Pinto da Costa, President of Shell Brasil and Thomas Akkerhuis, Energy Analyst in Shell’s Strategy Insights & Scenarios, to learn more and share reflections on the pathways that can take Brazil to lead the transition to a low-carbon economy.
