Threats and opportunities for 2016- An update on our economic and markets outlook

Financial markets were off to a very dramatic start to the year as a confluence of factors hit sentiment and reduced investors visibility. Whilst it is doubtless that new risks have come to the fore that could threaten global growth going forward, the economic environment remains robust enough and conducive to modest, if unspectacular, financial returns. The presentation will focus on the economic outlook and associated risks and discuss investment opportunities across a range of asset classes.

Speakers' Bio -FEDERICO CERESOLE - Executive Director

Federico re-joined Goldman Sachs in September 2010 to focus on expanding the Portfolio Advisory Group in the EMEA region. His previous work experiences include managing a macro hedge fund and leading the asset management unit of an Italian Investment Banking boutique. Federico spent 6 years at Goldman between 1998 and 2004 covering various positions in Goldman Sachs Asset Management on the product-distribution side and in Private Wealth Management on the portfolio management/advisory side. He started his career as a securities analyst, first in Italy and then in London with Citibank, to then move on to Private Client portfolio management at his family’s brokerage firm. He graduated with distinction from Turin University (Italy) with a B.A. in Economics (1985).
