Governance and International Affairs

Governance and International Affairs - 9 April 2026

The Brazilian Chamber held the in-person session Governance and International Affairs on 9 April at Banco do Brasil, bringing together board members, senior executives and governance professionals for a timely discussion on the evolving challenges of international business.

The session explored how boards can respond to increasing structural uncertainty across international trade, diplomacy and geopolitics, and highlighted the importance of sound governance practices, legal frameworks and access to reliable information in supporting effective oversight and strategic decision-making.

The Chamber extends its sincere thanks to Banco do Brasil for hosting the event, and to the members of the Strategic Governance Committee for their leadership in organising the session.

We also thank Bruno Nunes (BB Securities), Ronal Mascarello (Banco do Brasil), and the wider Banco do Brasil team for their valuable support in delivering the event.
