'Developments in the cross-border payments sector in Brazil' webinar

Brazil’s Central Bank has recently approved a series of changes to its FX policy, aimed at facilitating international payment and transfer operations. With the creation of a new concept called eFX (which can be either an institution authorised by the Brazilian Central Bank or an authorised legal entity that offers digital payment solutions), FinTechs will be able to operate in the foreign exchange market exclusively through electronic means, assisting international companies to pay and receive payments in Brazil.

As COP26 comes to a close, we are taking this opportunity to have a follow up discussion with government and industry leaders which actively participated or supported the event. The world is welcoming a new era for climate action and responsibilities, reducing emissions, strengthening resilience and adapting to climate changes. Several countries have decided to stop investing in fossil fuels, more than 100 world leaders have agreed to halt deforestation by 2030 and more than 100 countries have agreed to reduce methane emissions.
