This year's Personality of the Year award on the Brazilian side will be presented to Embraer. This recognition reflect the strong and longstanding ties between Embraer and the United Kingdom, including partnerships that create opportunities for British aerospace suppliers, as well as the company's investment in the country. Joao Pedro Taborda, Vice-President, Government Affairs - Europe and Central Asia, will receive de award on behalf of the company at the Gala Dinner.

Brazil Investment Week London 2025 (BIW) will take place from 29 September to 3 October, bringing together senior investors, financial institutions, corporates, policymakers, and thought leaders to strengthen bilateral investment opportunities between Brazil and the United Kingdom. The programme will address priority themes such as Energy Transition and Infrastructure, Agri- and Nature-based Solutions,  Financial Services and FinTech, and Global Exit Strategies.

Since 1999, the Brazilian Chamber’s flagship event, the Gala Dinner and Personality of the Year Awards, has been the networking, informative and celebratory event of the year for anyone involved or interested in trade and investment ties between Brazil and the United Kingdom. With Cop 30 and the Earthshot Prize both taking place in Brazil in this, the 200th anniversary year of diplomatic relations between the two countries, our event is even more special this year.
Alexandre Saigh is Patria’s Chief Executive Officer and a member of its Board of Directors. On  4th June 2024, our flagship event, the Personality of the Year Awards Gala Dinner, took place at Drapers' Hall.Around 230 members and friends of the Brazilian Chamber celebrated the achievements of  Alex Saigh, CEO of Patria Investments and Angelica Ruiz, President Latin America at BP.Photos of the event can be seen here.
